What is the GMAT?
The GMAT is the Graduate Management Admission Test, a standardized test required by the vast majority of business schools because it provides a measure of an applicant’s academic ability. The GMAT test does not include any questions that gauge your business knowledge. The GMAT test is computerized and administered six days each week, 52 weeks per year. While the exam can be taken at virtually any time, it can only be taken once per 31 days and 5 times per year.
Who conducts the Test and when is it held?
​ The test is conducted by Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) and it is held all year round (except weekends and public holidays) at specific test centers across the globe. A passport is the mandatory primary form of identification required.
How many times can one take the Test?
What should be ideal number of attempts? A: You can take the test no more than five times within a year and once in any calendar month.
What is the cost of the GMAT?
The registration fee for the GMAT® is USD 250. If you wish to reschedule the date, time or location of your test, you have to pay a rescheduling fee of USD 50. There is a USD 80 refund if you cancel the test a minimum of seven days before your test date.
